What Happens If I Do Not Like the Website Simply Built Makes?

Quick answer

You tell me what isn't working and I fix it. If after that you still don't like it, you don't pay. There's no obligation — the website is only yours if you're happy with it.

Why this is the normal part of the process

Nobody describes their business perfectly in a first message, and nobody guesses someone else's taste perfectly from a few notes. The first version exists so you have something concrete to react to. "Not like this" is far easier to say than "here's exactly what I want," and it's more useful.

What kind of feedback helps

  • "This wording isn't how I'd say it" — tell me how you'd say it.
  • "We don't do that service anymore."
  • "The photos are wrong, here are better ones."
  • "The colors feel too cold for us."
  • "The first thing people need to see is the phone number, not the story."
  • "I can't put my finger on it, it just doesn't feel like us."

That last one is fine too. Vague reactions are still information, and we can work through them.

You are not paying for the attempt

There's no deposit and no setup fee, so if it doesn't come together you haven't lost money. That's the point of building first — see do I have to pay before you build it.

What makes a good outcome more likely

Send examples of sites you like and say what you liked — that shortcuts a lot of guessing. Send real photos rather than leaving me to use stock, since your own work is what makes a site feel like yours: see do I need professional photos. And mention anything you actively dislike up front; it's quicker than discovering it in version one.

Be honest with me

Polite silence is the worst outcome for both of us. If something's wrong, say it plainly — I'd much rather fix it than have you quietly walk away from a website you nearly liked.

If it's simply not a fit

Then it's not, and you don't pay. No hard feelings and no pressure. If you'd rather work out what you actually need first, send me what you have and we can talk it through before anything gets built. It may also help to read what questions to ask before hiring anyone.

Want me to build the first version?

Give me what you have and I'll turn it into a professional business website. You see it before you buy it.
