Do I Have to Pay Before Simply Built Builds My Website?

Quick answer

No. You don't pay a deposit, a setup fee, or anything upfront. I build the website first, then you decide. That's the whole idea behind built first, paid later — you're looking at your actual website before any money moves.

Why it works this way

Paying a stranger hundreds of dollars for something you can't see yet is a genuinely uncomfortable thing to do, and it's the reason a lot of small businesses never get around to a website at all. Removing that step removes the risk from your side.

How it goes in practice

  • You send what you have — your business name, what you do, contact details, and any photos or notes.
  • I build the first version of your website.
  • You look at it and tell me what's wrong, missing, or worded badly.
  • I fix it.
  • If you like it, you pay and it's yours.

You don't need finished content or a logo to start — see what do I need to give someone to build my website and can I start with just my business name.

And if you don't like it?

You tell me what isn't working and I fix it. If after that you still don't like it, you don't pay. There's no obligation — the website is only yours if you're happy with it. See what if I don't like the website.

When payment happens

After the site is built and you've decided you want it. The package prices are published on the site rather than quoted privately, so you know the number before anything starts — see packages and pricing. If paying it all at once is awkward, there are 3- and 6-month options, with the exact monthly amount and total shown on the payment page before you check out. See does Simply Built offer payment plans.

What's optional after that

Website Care is $50/month for small edits, content updates, and basic maintenance. It's optional, there's no obligation to keep it, and stopping it doesn't affect your ownership of the site. See what website care includes and who owns my website.

Ready when you are

There's nothing to commit to at this stage. Send me what you have and you'll have something real to look at.

Want me to build the first version?

Give me what you have and I'll turn it into a professional business website. You see it before you buy it.
